David MacFarlan Recreation Reserve in Sorrento is set near the heart of the Sorrento township.  It is home to Sorrento Bowls Club, Sorrento Tennis Club, Sorrento Junior Football Club, Sorrento Football Netball Club, Sorrento Junior Netball Club, Sorrento Sea Scouts and Sorrento Cricket Club.
