Eligibility
The Mornington Peninsula Wizardry Quest is free and open to all. Children under 18 years of age must have a parent or guardian complete the entry form on their behalf.
Employees and Councillors of the Mornington Peninsula Shire and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter the competition.
How to Enter

First, you will need to collect or download a copy of the official Mornington Peninsula Wizardry Quest Map. The map is also available at participating businesses.

You will need to collect 5 different code words from 5 different participating business locations. The code word will be displayed on a poster at the business location.

Participating businesses are listed on the website and the map.

A valid entry must list a minimum of five correct code words to enter the prize draw and your correct contact details.

You can also receive a bonus entry by following the Mornington Peninsula Visitor Centre on Facebook. For your bonus entry to be valid you must be following the Mornington Peninsula Visitor Centre on Facebook at the time of the prize draw. All entries must be submitted electronically through the competition's official website at https://mornpen.vic.gov.au/wizardryquest or in person at the Mornington Peninsula Visitor Information Centre; 359B Point Nepean Road, Dromana (open daily 10am to 4pm) or The Briars Visitor Centre; 450 Nepean Highway, Mt Martha (open daily 10am to 4.30pm).

Submission of entries is open from 9am Monday 3 June 2024 and closes at 4pm Monday 15 July 2024.
Prize Details
First Prize: A family getaway on the Mornington Peninsula (valued at up to $1,145) inclusive of:
- Accommodation to the value of $900 at Boathouse Resort, Blairgowrie
- A Family Pass to Dromana 3 Drive In, Dromana for up to 5 people 2 adults and 3 children * conditions apply
- A family pass for 2 adults and 2 children to Arthurs Seat Eagle, Arthurs Seat
- A $100 voucher to put towards lunch at Hickinbotham of Dromana, Dromana
Second Prize: A family day out on the Mornington Peninsula valued at up to $240, which includes
- Family Pass to Enchanted Adventure, Arthurs Seat
- $100 Voucher for lunch at JimmyRum, Dromana
Third Prize: A family day out at Moonlit Sanctuary valid at up to $83, which includes
- A Family Pass for 2 adults and 2 children for Moonlit Sanctuary, Pearcedale
There will be no cash alternative to the prizes. The prizes are not transferable. Prizes are subject to availability, and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice. It will be your responsibility to arrange for collection and receipt of prizes.
*All vouchers are valid for 12 months from 16 July 2024 unless stated otherwise on the voucher. Vouchers are subject to the terms and conditions of the supplier at time of making of booking/redemption.
Entry Eligibility
The rules of the competition and the prize for each winner are as follows:
- Participants must submit five correct code words and contact information to be eligible for the prize draw.
- Participants under 18 years must have their parent or guardian complete the entry form.
- For each eligible entry, the entrant receives 1 entry into the prize draw.
- Participants can receive a bonus entry by following Mornington Peninsula Visitor Information Centre on Facebook.
- You can enter as many times as you like provided each entry is submitted separately and lists five different codewords on each form.
Selection of Winners
All eligible entries will be randomly selected.
Announcement of Winners
Winners will be contacted by phone on Tuesday 16 July 2024 and announced Friday 19 July at 4pm via the Mornington Peninsula Visitor Centre Facebook page and https://mornpen.vic.gov.au/wizardryquest.
If we are unable to contact the winner by 4pm Thursday 18 July, a redraw will be conducted for that prize.
Liability
Mornington Peninsula Shire and its affiliates are not responsible for any technical issues, lost or delayed entries, or any other circumstances beyond their control that may affect participation in the competition.
The Shire is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.
Agreement to Terms
Submission of an entry in this competition constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions.
Privacy Collection Statement
The personal information you provide when submitting your competition entry is being collected by the Mornington Peninsula Shire (the Shire) in accordance with the Privacy and Data Protection Act 2014, and the Shire’s Privacy Policy. The information will be used to administer your participation in the Mornington Peninsula Wizardry Quest Competition and may be used for a secondary purpose that you would reasonably expect. You may access the personal information you have provided or make changes to the information if it is incorrect by contacting the Shire’s Freedom of Information Officer at foi@mornpen.vic.gov.au
