Pets for Adoption
We are operating as per normal through our ongoing redevelopment and our hours have not been affected.
Choosing a new pet for your family is an exciting time and by choosing the option of adoption, you are giving a new home and love to an animal in need. The dogs and cats listed below are currently looking for their new forever homes. The Community Animal Shelter has been spending time caring, assessing and preparing our animals for a successful adoption.
All of our cats and dogs are microchipped, desexed, vaccinated, vet checked, worm/flea treated and temperament tested by our experienced staff.

To express interest in adopting on of our animals please complete the adoption application attached below. Our friendly staff are always available to discuss the adoption process and any further information on our animals. Before visiting the Community Animal Shelter and Animal Pound please call to arrange an appointment with one of our friendly staff prior to your visit.

Animals available for adoption
Some animals in our care may not yet be displayed on this page because they are either not yet ready for adoption or are awaiting collection by one of our 86 partnered rescue groups.
We work closely with these rescue groups and platforms like Pet Rescue to help ensure every animal has the best chance at a positive outcome. All of our animals stay with us for as long as it takes to find their forever home.
