BreastScreen Victoria

1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime, with 75% of women diagnosed over the age of 50. A mammogram every 2 years is the best way to detect breast cancer early.
BreastScreen Victoria offers free breast cancer screening for eligible Victorians over 40, however we particularly invite women aged 50 – 74 years, as they are at most at risk of developing breast cancer.
Appointments take 10 minutes, are with a female radiographer a doctor's referral is not needed.
Screening centres are located throughout Victoria including sites in Rosebud, Frankston, CBD, Dandenong, Berwick, Glen Waverley and Moorabbin Campus.
Visit breastscreen.org.au or call 13 20 50 to find your nearest clinic and book an appointment.
