The Victorian Electoral Commission today declared the successful candidates for the 2024-2028 Mornington Peninsula Shire Council.

This next term of council will see three returning councillors and eight new faces in a new configuration of 11 single councillor wards.

The successful candidates are:

Kate Roper                   Beek Beek ward (Somerville/Tyabb)

Max Patton                   Benbenjie ward (McCrae/Rosebud)

Anthony Marsh             Briars ward (Mount Martha)

Patrick Binyon              Brokil ward (Safety Beach/Dromana)

David Gill                      Coolart ward (Flinders/Red Hill/Balnarring)

Stephen Batty               Kackeraboite ward (Mount Eliza)

Bruce Ranken               Moorooduc ward (Moorooduc)

Andrea Allen                 Nepean ward (Blairgowrie/Sorrento)

Paul Pingiaro                Tanti ward (Mornington)

Cam Williams                Tootgarook ward (Capel Sound/Rosebud)

Michael Stephens         Warringine ward (Hastings)

The new candidates will be officially sworn in as Councillors at a council meeting on Tuesday 19 November where the mayor and deputy mayor will also be elected.
