Election (Caretaker) Period

Mornington Peninsula Shire Council has now entered the Election (Caretaker) Period, until 6pm 26 October (Election Day). During this time, the Election Period Policy will be in effect to ensure that the election is conducted fairly, equitably, and ethically while allowing Council business to continue in a responsible and transparent manner.

Road Management Plan

The Road Management Plan for Mornington Peninsula Shire roads and associated infrastructure assets is used to document current levels of service and management practices.

The plan provides a transparent and a network wide approach to managing the Peninsula's roads.

In accordance with Division 5 of the Road Management Act 2004, the Mornington Peninsula Shire has, as a Road Authority, developed and published a Road Management Plan and Register of Public Roads. The latest version of the Road Management Plan was adopted by Council on 6 September 2022 and came into effect on 30 September 2022.
