H5N1 avian influenza (bird flu) has been detected in Victoria. If you see sick or dead birds on the Peninsula, avoid contact and record what you see. Report it online or via the Emergency Animal Disease Hotline on 1800 675 888.

Our geocaching is back for Summer and has gone digital!
Want to take treasure hunting to the next level? Then the Briars site-wide geocaching is for you! We’re putting a Briars spin on traditional geocaching with themed ‘caches’ or boxes hidden onsite. You’ll get a clue to where each cache is hidden, but that doesn’t mean they’ll be easy to find! Grab your family, friends, or go solo on this self- guided geocaching adventure to find out what is awaiting in each cache. Think you can find them all? Scan the QR Code outside the Visitor Centre to being you geocaching journey. (Note to those familiar with traditional geocaching, the Briars geocaches do not require exchanges of items).
