Notice of Intention to Enter into Lease – Mornington Civic Bowls and Social Club, 350 Dunns Road, Mornington
Mornington Peninsula Shire Council (Council) gives notice pursuant to section 115 of the Local Government Act 2020 of its intention to enter into a lease with Mornington Civic Bowls and Social Club Inc. for part of the land located at 350 Dunns Road, Mornington (the Premises). The Premises is shown outlines in red on the plan below.
Civic Reserve site is a significant sports and recreational reserve in Mornington hosting several sporting clubs, a skate park, a gallery and an off-leash dog park.
The proposed lease will support the Mornington Civic Bowls and Social Club Inc., a local community organisation that provides bowls and related activities from the Premises.
The proposed lease terms are as follows:
- Tenant: Mornington Civic Bowls & Social Club Inc.
- Commencing Date: 1 October 2026
- Term: 10 years
- Rent: $5,000 per annum (plus GST)
- Rent Increase: 3% per annum
- Permitted Use: Bowls club and associated bowls and recreational activities
- Other Terms: Such other terms and conditions as may be required by Council’s Legal Counsel.
Feedback on the proposed lease must be lodged in writing to the Property Team at property@mornpen.vic.gov.au
The closing date for providing feedback is 5pm on 17 September 2026.
