Summer preparedness workshop equips businesses for peak season

Local operators are invited to attend a free Ready Set Summer Workshop to gain practical advice, emergency preparedness information and confidence ahead of the busy summer season. 

Presented by Mornington Peninsula Shire in partnership with CFA, Victoria Police, Life Saving Victoria and Mornington Peninsula Emergency Management, the workshop will provide practical safety advice, local insights and emergency preparedness information. 

Summer brings visitors, opportunities and, occasionally, unexpected challenges. This interactive session will help attendees understand potential risks, access trusted information and know who to contact when it matters most.

• CFA — Practical fire‑preparedness advice and key considerations for the summer period. 
• Victoria Police — Insights into local community activity and how businesses can prepare for potential incidents. 
• Life Saving Victoria — Tips for keeping staff, customers and visitors safe around beaches and waterways.
• Mornington Peninsula Emergency Management — Local emergency planning, response arrangements and where to find trusted information.
