Young people from our Youth Services' Impakt FReeZA committee were beyond excited to unveil their R U OK? Day mural in September.

The mural is a collaboration involving four FReeZA groups from different councils across Victoria. FReeZA is a State Government initiative supporting all ages drug, alcohol and smoke free entertainment for 15 to 25 year olds.

The mural, now a stunning feature at Mornington Community House, embodies a space welcoming everyone from all ages.

It’s a celebration of community, connection, and creativity.

The Impakt FReeZA committee members brainstormed the concept, sketched the design, and poured their hearts into filling it with colour and life. The committee worked with mural artist,  @td_illustrations to guide and shape the final result of the mural.

This project was a true collaborative effort, and a first of its kind for FReeZA!

The young people connected with new friends across Victoria via online meetings to plan the artworks. They also shared their messages of connection and belonging through their own murals.

Other FReeZA committees involved were Frankston's @fresh.frankston, Wodonga's @wodongayouth and Hepburn Shire's @octave_youth_events.
