Mornington Peninsula Shire Council have been working on implementing the recommendations of the Rosebud Parking Precinct Plan (PPP) and revised parking restrictions have recently been installed to reflect these recommendations in the Rosebud Precinct study area.
The changes have now introduced more consistent parking times across the Activity Centre with 2P area parking introduced in the 4 service road sections on Point Nepean Road between Jetty Road and Seventh Avenue as well as 2-hour parking on the shops side of the central parking of Point Nepean Road between Fourth Avenue and Seventh Avenue, as well as Jetty Road and Murray-Anderson Road. The beach side of the central parking will remain unrestricted. All 2P areas as listed above are 9am-6pm Monday to Sunday to reflect current business trading hours of the area.
Furthermore, the Traffic & Transport team are still in discussions with Plaza management with some further possible changes to their private car park to address the recommendations that came out of strategy, improve parking turnover by implementing parking restrictions that better reflect the adjacent land uses to the car park.
