Exciting works are now underway at Emil Madsen Reserve, with a brand new sports pavilion (East Pavilion) set to benefit the Mount Eliza Soccer Club, Junior Football Club, Cricket Club and Senior Football Netball Club.
The single storey pavilion, located beside the netball courts, will be around 800 square metres in size and feature six change rooms, umpire rooms, unisex toilets, storage areas, a kitchen with servery, and a central social space for community use.
Thanks to support from Federal Government grant funding, and with the construction contract awarded at Council’s June 2025 meeting, site establishment is complete and bulk earthworks have now commenced.
The East Pavilion project is anticipated to be completed within 12 months.
