There are many services that survivors of abuse, along with those concerned about others can reach out for confidential assistance and support. 

Resources for children and young people

• Kids Helpline is a free (even from a mobile), confidential 24/7 online and phone counselling service for young people aged 5 to 25. If you need to speak to a counsellor, at Kids Helpline telephone 1800 55 1800, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for any reason.

• Lifeline is a suicide prevention service, providing all people experiencing a personal crisis access to 24-hour crisis support. Phone: 131 114 (24 hours).

Resources for Parents and Carers
