Councillor Stephen Batty was elected to the Mornington Peninsula Shire Council in 2024 and represents the Kackeraboite Ward.
Stephen has been appointed representative on the Audit and Risk Committee, Metropolitan Transport Forum, Mornington Liquor Industry Accord,Mornington Peninsula Cemetery Trust, and MAV Emergency Management Committee.
Cr Batty is a qualified accountant ( CPA) and has a degree in Forestry (ANU). Stephen has been a successful businessman in the Transport and Warehouse industries. Stephen has recently sold his event and party hire Business. Stephen was been Operations Manager at the Melbourne Cricket Club and Marvel Stadium and has extensive knowledge and operational experience at Melbourne’s major venues.
Stephen has been active in supporting and volunteering for local sporting clubs and associations.
Stephen is looking forward to the important role as Councillor and is committed to providing a safe and prosperous environment for all families that live and visit the Mornington Shire. Stephen will protect and support all local business and the various community facilities, clubs and associations.
