How to apply for a copy of Planning permits and plans

To determine if there is any history of planning applications or approvals on the property, you can view our Planning Register or contact the Statutory Planning team on 5950 1010.

If there are planning approvals that you would like to obtain a copy of, you can do this by making an "Application for Copies of Planning Permits and Endorsed Plans"

Fees for this type of application are as follows:

Permit Only	$87.00
Residential Planning Permit & Endorsed Plans	$160.00
Commercial Planning Permit & Endorsed Plans	$315.00

Please note The application fee is payable for each Planning permit and Endorsed Plans copied

As mentioned above, Planning permits and endorsed plans are only available where a planning application or planning permit exists for the property.

If you are seeking copies of house plans, building permits, occupancy permits or other building-related documentation, these records may be held by Council's Building team rather than Planning.
