Tanti Creek Friends

Tanti Creek Friends are community members who volunteer their time to protect and enhance the biodiversity and aesthetic values of Tanti Creek. Our activities extend from the creek headwaters near Watts Road (the Tourist Railway Station) through to the estuary near Mills Beach, Mornington.
On the last Tuesday of every month from 9.30 am, volunteers come together at working bees and participate in a number of activities such as weeding, planting, monitoring, applying for grants, bird surveys and Water Watch water quality programs. The Shire works closely with Tanti Creek Friends, providing support, training, advice and equipment. No experience required, just turn up!
