H5N1 avian influenza (bird flu) has been detected in Victoria. If you see sick or dead birds on the Peninsula, avoid contact and record what you see. Report it online or via the Emergency Animal Disease Hotline on 1800 675 888.

Northern Mornington Peninsula Tourism (NMPT) operates from the Mornington Courthouse Visitor Centre. A tourism information centre is provided, which is staffed by volunteers. NMPT also bring the Main Street Mornington Festival to the community annually. This is also organised by volunteers.
