The Mornington Tourist Railway has working Historic Trains and provides Heritage Steam Train Rides for the Public. The Mornington Railway has three stations from which you board the train Moorooduc Railway Station, Tanti Station and Mornington Station. A connecting courtesy bus service operates between Mornington station the township, beach and pier subject to availability. After boarding at Moorooduc, passengers may join the courtesy bus at Mornington station to return on a later train. Free parking is available at all three stations. Moorooduc station has a food and drinks kiosk. Group bookings are available every running day. Children's self catering birthday parties can be held in one of the specially fitted out carriages. Phone 9789 5194 for bookings. Day and evening charter trains available by arrangement. On some days the train may be hauled by one of the heritage diesel locomotives.
