Alongside Bec Counselling

Sometimes life just feels like a lot.

Maybe you're overwhelmed, burnt out, stuck, constantly trying to keep up or wondering why things that seem easy for everyone else feel so exhausting. Maybe you've spent years adapting, masking or trying to meet everyone else's expectations. Or perhaps you're a young person trying to work out who you are and where you fit.

I provide warm, neurodivergent-affirming counselling for young people and adults, drawing on more than 10 years of experience supporting people, young people and families through difficult times, change and complex life experiences. My background includes working across family services, child and family support, schools and counselling, with a particular interest in neurodivergence, ADHD, autism, overwhelm, burnout, identity, relationships and life transitions.

I don't believe you need to arrive with the right words or know exactly what needs to change. My approach is relaxed, practical and person-centred. I'm here to work alongside you — without judgement, without pressure and without expecting you to fit into a particular mould.

Together, we can make sense of what's going on, understand what you need and find ways to make life feel a little more manageable — in a way that works for you.
