Exciting local opportunity
Published on 29 August 2025
Mornington Peninsula Shire’s Traineeship Program will soon commence recruitment for our 2026 intake.
Returning for the third year, this program gives six individuals the chance to grow professionally and personally through a 12-month paid traineeship, all whilst supporting the local community.
The Traineeship Program provides flexible employment and training opportunities for people wanting to build a career. The program is aimed at attracting:
- School leavers
- Adults re-entering the workforce, reskilling or seeking a fresh start
To be eligible, you will need to be 18+, have the right to work in Australia and not already hold a Certificate IV (or higher) in Business or a similar field.
Trainees will work with the Shire while completing a Certificate IV in Business - a nationally recognised qualification delivered by a Registered Training Organisation.
