Drive

Navigate the coastal roads from Melbourne through Frankston to discover the laid-back bayside towns along Port Phillip - think Mt Eliza, Mornington, Rosebud, Rye, Sorrento and Portsea. Or take a detour to the Westernport Bay side of the Peninsula via the M1 and the Western Port Highway, for the towns of Tyabb, Hastings and Flinders.

For a faster journey, take the M1 through to Eastlink, exiting when you see the Portsea sign. Keep an eye out for unique roadside art including Emily Floyd’s giant bird and Callum Morton’s skyscraper hotel.
