The Mornington Peninsula offers 192 kilometers of stunning coastline, featuring beaches with thoughtfully designed pathways and facilities for accessibility. Some of our beaches offer beach matting and all-terrain and beach wheelchairs. Discover how you can experience the beautiful and accessible coastline, and relax by the sea with ease.
Beach matting provides a stable surface, allowing access to the beach for people with mobility requirements. The matting is available year-round at Mount Martha Lifesaving Club beach. Additionally, it is available from November to May at Mothers Beach Mornington, Rosebud Beach, Rye beach and Sorrento Front Beach.
All-terrain and beach wheelchairs
Mount Martha Lifesaving Club beach and Point Leo Surf Lifesaving Club offer wheelchairs for beach use.
