Join BirdLife Mornington Peninsula for a morning celebrating local birds at Coolart. Learn about the bird species found across the Peninsula, hear an update on H5 bird flu, and enjoy a guided birdwatching walk with expert birders. Families can take part in the Big Bird Bake Off, with prizes across several age groups, while children’s activities will be available throughout the morning. Stay on to hear BirdLife Australia’s Sean Dooley share stories from his life with birds. Guided walks and festival activities are free, with proceeds from the Sean Dooley presentation helping fund the 2027 Mornington Peninsula Bird Festival.
