We're pleased to invite the community to safely dispose of household and garden chemicals at our Detox your home this winter event.

Saturday 20 June 2026 9am – 3pm at Mornington Resource Recovery centre

Bookings are ESSENTIAL: max 60 cars per hour in 15-minute time slots via Eventbrite!

Before the event

  • The maximum acceptable weight or size of a single container is 20 kg or 20 L. This is for lift-related occupational health and safety reasons of our chemists.

    • If repackaged, write contents with a permanent marker.
    • Label unknown substances as 'Unknown'.

  • Place items in your empty car boot or tray.

At the event
