Proposed Naming of a Road in Mornington

No longer on display. Expired on 01 August 2022, 05:00 PM

Council is currently considering a proposal to officially name the currently unnamed road running from Gleneagles Drive to Seaton Rd, Mornington as shown in the below map. This extent of the road does not currently have any addresses attached.

A subdivision at the rear of 42 Gleneagles Drive has resulted in one new property which gain access from the unnamed road. This road needs to be named for addressing, communications, including postal and emergency services purposes as a minimum. The proposed name is:

Ellerston Way - Ellerston is a famous golf course ranked among the best golf courses in the world and is in keeping with the surrounding road names that have been named after famous golf courses such as Gleneagles, Portrush and Carnoustie.
