Southern Peninsula residents are invited to connect with their Councillors in person at a Community Council Meeting to be held at Blairgowrie next week. Those interested in attending are welcome to meet and chat with Councillors over light refreshments before the formalities begin. The meeting will be held on Tuesday, 2 December at Blairgowrie Community Hall, 12 William Road, Blairgowrie. Join us from 5.30pm to meet and connect with your Councillors and enjoy light refreshments prior to the formal Council Meeting.
Quotes attributable to Mayor Councillor Anthony Marsh: “This is a chance for Southern Peninsula residents to meet Council in person and get to know us better. Councillors are more than happy to chat and listen to your concerns, ahead of the formal meeting. “By regularly holding our meetings at different locations around the Peninsula, we hope to enable more people to connect with us in person. Attending a Council Meeting gives a great insight into the workings of Council and the many competing factors and priorities we must consider when making decisions.”
