Curiosity is a powerful thing, especially when you're a kid standing at the edge of the bush with a whole world to explore.

At The Briars, the Wildlife Eco Explorers holiday program invites children to step into nature and see what happens when curiosity leads the way. For a day, the bush becomes their playground and the kids become wildlife detectives.

The adventure begins among bushland trails, where young explorers wander through the landscape searching for clues. Footprints in the dirt, rustling leaves and hidden pathways all hint that The Briars is far busier than it first appears.

But the real magic happens when the kids set up trail cameras, quietly placing them in the bush and leaving them overnight to see who might wander past after dark.

Guided by The Briars’ passionate team, the program gives children a chance to connect with the natural world in a hands-on way. It's about asking questions, exploring with confidence and discovering that nature is full of surprises when you slow down and look closely.

At the Briars, every curious kid has the chance to become an Eco Explorer and discover just how exciting the natural world can be. The next session is running from 13 - 15 April. Learn more on our Eco Explorers page.
