The implementation of the David MacFarlan Master Plan is well underway. Last year, the playground was removed to make way for new cricket nets. Now we’re asking local families what type of play equipment they would like to see at the new playground, to be located next to the cricket nets.
The new playground will be compact (small), but with the right equipment it will be lots of fun. A compact playground is designed to provide maximum fun and activity within a limited space. These playgrounds often use multi-functional equipment and creative layouts to maximise use and accessibility.
What type of equipment would you like to see at the David MacFarlan compact playground? Your input will help guide the concept design, ensuring we meet our community’s needs where we can.
