Mount Martha: Briars Recycled Water Irrigation Infrastructure

To supplement the Briars Class A Recycled Water Project, this project aims to utilise the infrastructure constructed in conjunction South East Water to further reduce the reliance on potable water across the site.

The project involves the establishment of irrigation infrastructure across the Briars and will be phased over three stages to align with the overall recycled water project.

Stage 1 - provide water to high value areas such as the agricultural and horticultural sites as well as visual amenity areas such as lawns.

Stage 2 - will allow an expansion of the agriculture and horticulture areas as well as provide water to the shire nursery.

Stage 3 - will provide water to toilet services across the site.

Detailed Design of the irrigation system is now complete.

The project is ready to move into procurement however is dependent upon the commitment to the Briars Class A Recycled Water Project for delivery and further allocation of funding for construction.
