The objective of this project is to improve motorcyclist safety at the Hodgins Road and Carpenters Lane intersection in Hastings. This section has been identified as a high-risk location for motorcyclists due to gravel being carried onto Hodgins Road from the unsealed Carpenters Lane, increasing the risk of motorcyclists losing control.
To address these issues, it is proposed to install bellmouth seals on Carpenters Lane on both approaches to the intersection with Hodgins Road.
