H5N1 avian influenza (bird flu) has been detected in Victoria. If you see sick or dead birds on the Peninsula, avoid contact and record what you see. Report it online or via the Emergency Animal Disease Hotline on 1800 675 888.

The Shire’s Home Energy Upgrade program has unfortunately closed. This follows a decision by the Board of the Yarra Energy Foundation (YEF), a program partner, to place the organisation into voluntary administration.
The supplier for the program, All Electric Homes, is NOT in administration. Shire officers will investigate opportunities for future energy upgrade programs.
