The Somers Probus club was formed in 2005. We welcome active retired men and women from all walks of life. Meetings at the Yacht Club begin with general discussion about the Club’s activities and are followed by a talk from a well known speaker. At the conclusion of the meeting at about 12 noon, many members enjoy sharing lunch together at a nearby restaurant, arranged by the committee.The Club organises visits to places of particular interest and the Activity Groups embrace many aspects of life and range of interests such as reading, playing cards, family history, films, finance, Kelly pool and cycling, golf, wine appreciation and gardening. The trips away both within Australia and overseas are enthusiastically enjoyed by members.Members meet on the second Friday of each month at 10am at Somers Yacht Club, Somers.
