Mums Supporting Families in Need is a local charity that provides material aid to vulnerable families via referral from their social worker/case manager. They receive donated goods from the community which they then sort and distribute to case managers to rehome to vulnerable families.* Items given include: Clothing for children, mums and dads, toiletries, nappies, bed linen, shoes,toys and non perishable food. They also provide nursery furniture that must meet Australian Safety Standards such as cots, prams, car seats, high chairs and bassinets. They are contactable by email or facebook only. Email Jodie with a list of articles that are required, including age, gender and location so that they can assist.
