Hastings TOWN Club is a Weight Loss Support Group which has been going for over 20 years. We are one of a Victoria-wide group of clubs, of which nine are spread over and around the Peninsula area: Chelsea, Dromana, Hastings, Kananook, Mornington, Moorabbin, Phillip Island, Rosebud and Tootgarook.
I joined TOWN 21 years ago at Dromana and have been at Hastings for 16 years. If it weren't for attending every week, I would be twice the size I am and half as healthy. We have had some wonderful success stories, but are always aware of how difficult it can be to just keep on keeping on, so are very supportive when we have our down times and, yes, I have them occasionally as well, of course.
