Councillor Internal Resolution Procedure

The Internal Resolution Procedure is adopted in accordance with section 140 of the Local Government Act 2020 and regulation 12A of the Local Government (Governance and Integrity) Regulations 2020.
It outlines the process for managing alleged breaches of the Model Councillor Code of Conduct and allows use of the initial stage to help address other issues requiring resolution.
