At The Briars, grandparents and grandchildren come together each week for a playgroup filled with nature-inspired fun.
From wandering bush trails to bird watching, scavenger hunts, and even making mud cakes, each session is designed to spark creativity, foster connection, and strengthen bonds between generations.
Our Supported Playgroup Team has been overjoyed to see the smiles, laughter, and growing sense of community these sessions bring.
Grandparents have embraced the experience wholeheartedly, with some even rearranging work schedules just to join in the fun!

Due to overwhelming popularity and with the continued support of funds through the Shire's Positive Ageing initiative, the Grandparents Supported Playgroup at The Briars will be back in early 2025!
