The Repair Cafe at Rye Community House is back!
Are you tired of throwing away items that could be fixed with a little bit of repair? Do you like reducing waste and embracing sustainability?
Come along to this great community initiative where people come together to help fix broken 'stuff' instead of throwing it away. We'll have skilled volunteers who offer their time and expertise to help repair a wide range of items e.g. electronics, furniture, clothing, appliances, bicycles, toys and more. Items must be small enough to be carried.
There will be barista coffee and afternoon tea available.
Pop in to say hello on the first Sunday of the month, and bring along something you care about that needs fixing. You may be surprised what can be fixed with just a bit of know-how by someone keen to help.
There is no charge for repairs, but donations are always welcome.
