The Rose Garden has 4,000 roses and native plants planted in a 1.6 ha area of the Civic Reserve with a rotunda, fountain, colonnade and sculptures. These gardens are attended to by volunteers and pruning demonstrations are held in July. We hold Sunday High Tea's in the Don Gordon Garden Room over the Spring/Summer months, October to March and the rotunda and surrounds can be booked for weddings. Admission to the gardens is free but donations and garden bed sponsorships are gratefully accepted to enable us to keep the gardens looking so good.The gardens are also disability friendly as well.
