The aim of the Register is to promote confident and secure living among senior citizens who reside in the Western Port Region. It is a joint Hastings Police and Community initiative and has been in operation since 2000. Each member is provided with an ID card, we offer fortnightly/monthly telephone calls, home visits, quarterly newsletters and social activities for members. The service is free and is managed by volunteers with support from the Hastings Police. Application forms are available from Hastings Police Station, local doctors' surgeries, chemists and libraries.
