Everyday actions to live more sustainably with Tamara DiMattina from The New Joneses

The New Joneses and Buy Nothing New Month come together to demonstrate how you can simply and economically take personal action to reduce your use of the earth’s finite resources. You’ll get a better understanding of how you and your household can live more sustainably.

How to repair and upcycle common household items (Point Nepean Men's Shed)

Point Nepean Men’s Shed will demonstrate how to repair or upcycle common household items. You will get a better understanding of how you can increase the longevity of items around your house and minimise waste.

Are you a bit unsure of what you can put in your household recycling bin? Join us to find out what you can and can’t recycle here on the Mornington Peninsula. There will be opportunities to ask questions too.

Use your food waste and scraps to start a compost or worm farming system at home. You don’t even need a backyard to compost! Come along to find out how you can get started and get the answers to your composting questions.

This session will cover the basics of sewing, such as how to fix buttons and holes. It will also demonstrate how you can repair and upcycle old textiles.
