We undertake fire management works in our bushland, foreshore and roadside reserves. Fire management works aim to reduce fuel hazard and risk to neighbouring properties from potential bushfire.
The Shire conducts planned burns to help protect life, property and the environment from the threat of bushfire and to maintain the health of plants and animals learn more and find out when planned burns are proposed in your area.
