Council is currently considering a proposal to officially name an unnamed boardwalk in Rye.

The unnamed boardwalk provides access between two carparks in Rye.

The proposed name is: Pauline Powell Walk

The naming proposal is to recognise the tireless work and dedication of Pauline Powell OAM.  Pauline’s lifetime of community service has been well documented and was recognised through the awarding of the Medal of the Order of Australia in 2005 for services to the community of Rye.
