Councillor Antonella Celi was elected to the Mornington Peninsula Shire Council in 2010 and represents the Seawinds Ward.
Cr Celi is currently the Chair of Council’s Health and Wellbeing Committee and the Mornington Peninsula Cemetery Trust and Councillor representative to the Audit and Risk Committee. Cr Celi is also a substitute representative to the Australia Day Committee, the Literacy Advisory Committee, the Metropolitan Transport Forum, the Peninsula Advisory Committee for Elders (PACE), and the Triple A Housing Committee.
Cr Celi has worked in executive administration for PR and marketing firms and as a practitioner in the complementary health and wellbeing industry. A former Mayor of the Mornington Peninsula Shire Council, Cr Celi has also graduated to receive a Diploma in Local Government for Elected Councillors.
Her community role has seen her working closely with residents, community groups, business and organisations to develop key Shire strategic plans and policies that deliver projects and services to the Mornington Peninsula Shire.
Cr Celi is passionate about achieving results for the community, advocating on issues, addressing challenges, focussing on opportunities and seeking local, state and federal government resources and funding to support programs, services and projects across the region.
