Due to the Public Holidays for Easter and Anzac Day on Friday 19, Monday 22 and Thursday 25 April, Mornington Peninsula Shire facilities will have changes to their regular operational hours.

At its Planning Services Committee Meeting on Monday 1 April 2019, Mornington Peninsula Shire Council adopted the Baxter Township Structure Plan 2019. The Plan seeks to protect the distinctive, positive elements of Baxter and identifies transport and urban design improvements to enhance useability and integration.
