Thunderstorm Asthma Community Education - Hastings

Thunderstorm asthma is a form of asthma that is triggered by an uncommon combination of high pollen (usually during late spring to early summer) and a certain kind of thunderstorm. Anyone can be affected, even if you don’t have a history of asthma.

Topics covered during the education sessions will include how to respond to thunderstorm asthma, who is at risk, how to perform asthma first aid and the link between asthma and hay fever.

The sessions are free and can be attended by anyone.
