Bike maintenance 101 workshop

If you've got a bike that needs some love, come along to this beginner-friendly bicycle maintenance class!

This workshop will help you cover the basics of how to tune and maintain your bicycle in a fun and interactive workshop.

John from Rye Community House Repair Cafe will pass on years of knowledge, demonstrating techniques and allowing you to have a go — so you know how to keep your bike running smoothly every time you ride!

In this workshop, you'll cover:

• Cleaning your bike
• Brakes, gears and chains
• Chain maintenance
• How to fix a puncture

What to bring

• Please wear clothes you don't mind getting a little messy as you'll be working with oil and dirt.
• Your bike - for the interactive parts!
• Closed shoes are compulsory for everyone attending this workshop.
