Peninsula Teachers Environment Network

If you are interested in embedding sustainability in your school and are looking for support and inspiration, we invite you to join the Peninsula Teachers Environment Network. Driven by teachers and coordinated by the Mornington Peninsula Shire, this network provides free networking, updates on potential opportunities and grants and information sharing for schools across the peninsula. More than 75% of peninsula schools are part of this great network!

Meetings are held online quarterly 4-5pm.

Annual Student Environmental Leadership Summit

Peninsula Teachers Environment Network members are invited to bring along 10 student environmental leaders each year to our annual summit. Funded by the Mornington Peninsula Shire and delivered by CERES School of Nature and Climate, the summit supports students to work collaboratively to develop a project to improve the sustainability of their school. For more information, contact environmentaleducation@mornpen.vic.gov.au

The Shire's Sustainability Education Program for Schools

The Shire's Sustainability Education Program offers educational incursions, webinars, online interactive workshops and excursions to the Eco Living Display Centre at the Briars, Mt Martha.
