Do you manage volunteers or a community group?

The role of coordinating or managing the volunteers in your organisation or group can be both challenging and rewarding. There is a wide range of resources available to support you in your role including the MP Volunteering Network.

Mornington Peninsula Volunteering Network

The MP Volunteering Network (MPVN) is a peer support network for anyone whose role includes managing or coordinating volunteers in a NFP organaistion or community group that provides services or activities on the Mornington Peninsula.

The MPVN meets approximately four times a year and provides opportunities for:

  • Peer Support/Mentoring
  • Networking & Joint Projects/Events
  • Information & Resource Sharing
  • Training & Professional Development Workshops
  • Advocacy

The Mornington Peninsula Shire convenes the Network,  and further supports the volunteering sector by providing confidential advice, information and support for managers of volunteers, referral to volunteer management resources, and facilitation of volunteering promotion initiatives. The Network has strong links with Volunteering Victoria and other State and National volunteering networks and peak bodies.

JOIN the MP Volunteering Mailing List  to receive regular news and information in the Volunteering Mornington Peninsula Newsletter!
