Do You Manage Volunteers?

The role of coordinating or managing the volunteer program for your organisation or group can be both challenging and rewarding. There is a wide range of resources available to support you in your role including the MP Managers of Volunteers Network.

Mornington Peninsula Managers of Volunteers Network

MP Managers of Volunteers Network is a peer support network for anyone whose role includes managing or coordinating volunteers in a NFP service or community group that provides services or activities on the Mornington Peninsula.

The MPMVN meets approximately six times a year and provides opportunities for:

  • Peer Support/Mentoring
  • Networking & Joint Projects/Events
  • Information & Resource Sharing
  • Training & Professional Development
  • Advocacy

The Mornington Peninsula Shire convenes the Network,  and further supports the volunteering sector by providing confidential advice, information and support for managers of volunteers, referral to volunteer management resources, and facilitation of volunteering promotion initiatives. The Network has strong links with Volunteering Victoria and other State and National volunteering networks and peak bodies.

For more information about the MPMVN, including a calendar of network and training events, contact Volunteering Mornington Peninsula at 5950 1638 or email or download the MPMVN. Terms of Reference.(PDF, 201KB)
