We regret to inform you that due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2020 Delys Sargeant Age-Friendly Awards will not be running. We continue to take advice from the State and Commonwealth Governments and will reschedule the awards when it is safe to do so.

The Delys Sargeant Age-Friendly Awards recognise a local initiative, club, group, services, business or person that contributes to building a stronger local community for seniors who live, work or play on the Mornington Peninsula.

The awards aim to provide a public opportunity to recognise and value older people (50+) in the community; promote respect, reduce ageism, and encourage an age-friendly Mornington Peninsula. Community members, older people and their friends, families and carers to nominate persons or organisations who actively demonstrate attitudes and actions which encourages these values.
